Remembering the good times may help adolescents to stave off depression, according to research on teenagers who were at risk of mental illness because of hardships they faced in childhood.
Scientists at the University of Cambridge found that recalling happy events appeared to build their resilience to mental illness, suggesting that recalling fond memories may help stave off depression later in life.
